Mad About Sport Ltd (MAS) has been trading approximately 25 years. The company started trading in a small way to local outlets, however once their name and reputation for selling high quality, genuine memorabilia was established, the company grew rapidly, supplying throughout the UK and Europe.
The driving force behind the expert memorabilia supplier is Company Director Andy Woodward who you may remember from the Sport & Soccer memorabilia shows on Ideal World and various other shopping channels. More recently, Andy appears on Hochanda Shopping channel's football memorabilia shows (Sky channel 663 and freeview channel 39) with Gary Ashburn and has appeared on Pawn Stars UK, showcasing exclusive England World Cup 1966 memorabrabilia. Andy is currently a valuer and authenticator to Channel 4's Posh Pawnbrokers & Posh Pawn and regularly appears on the shows. Through it’s very successful 25 year establishment, MAS has regularly contributed to local and national radio stations and were resident memorabilia experts on MUTV, Manchester United’s own TV station. There was a longstanding, regular memorabilia show on BBC Radio Kent, where listeners’ phone in for valuations and advice where Andy was a regular guest expert and continually invited back. Andy was also a regular guest expert on two very popular Sky based memorabilia programs on the shopping channels ACE TV and Equal World TV. And if this wasn’t enough, MAS were proud sponsors and suppliers to ITV's 60 Minute Makeover programme!
Mad About Sport Ltd is UACC Registered Dealers 221, one of a limited number worldwide and have been for the last 25 years. We are also AFTAL approved dealers number 19. Both are renowned industry governing bodies and we are proud to be associated with both.
Mad About Sport Ltd attend many trade shows (see ‘Upcoming Shows’ tab for details) and arrange special celebrity signings around the UK, often with very well known and established names who the company have close, entrusting business and personal relationships with, such as former World Welterweight champion John H Stracey, who is a close friend of Andy’s. You can guarantee the personal touch with MAS!
